Ames Abstract

Richard Ames is a retired live music tour manager/director, on the road most of his life visiting all 'four corners' of the world from 1971 to 2021.

Richard is also a published author and podcaster.

Touring over a span of 50 years means he has observed many incredible spectacles of colour and texture, which has had a strong influence on his work as an abstract artist.

Richard has been painting for some years working mostly in oil and acrylic on plywood or canvas. Since retiring from touring, he's enjoying the exhibition circuit bringing his abstract work to a wider audience of collectors.
